Corporation or Endowed Foundation Membership
L’Assemblée de la Louisiane is a partnership between individuals and organizations who share a commitment to Louisiana’s language, culture, land, waters, local economies, and people. We aim to serve all of Louisiana’s people, and we invite you to join our movement.
There are four categories of membership: individual, couple, youth (25 and under), and organization. Each type of membership includes the following benefits:
free attendance at all Assemblée events
free attendance at the annual Assemblée festival
voting rights in all Assemblée elections
rights to serve in Assemblée leadership and on committees
an Assemblée sticker and/or an Assemblée t-shirt
We are a young organization, and our initial focus will be using funds raised through membership to grow our movement through town halls and cultural events and to advocate for increased public and private funding to open new French immersion schools that incorporate our local Cajun, Creole, and Bayou Indian culture.
We will adjust these priorities as we grow in consultation with our members, and we will provide full transparency for all funds raised and expended annually. L’Assemblée is a non-profit organization, and donations are tax deductible.
